Feeling anxious or frightened is something you share with millions of other travelers. 1 out of 5 flyers admit to having some degree of fear about flying. And those are only the ones that admit it! The level of fear/anxiety experienced varies greatly from person to person. A great many people, while afraid of the whole process, are especially afraid during take-off. Once they’re airborne, they tend to relax a bit. Many others experience discomfort during most or all of the flight.
